Ogou Badagri is a powerful spirit (lwa) in Haitian Vodou, belonging to the Ogou family of warrior spirits. He is also associated with the Nago nation of spirits.  He is a spirit of justice and victory who defends the innocent and oppressed. He promises to keep promises taken in his name and those who break them may face consequences.
